God's Throwing Shade at Sam and Dean on Supernatural, But Can He Help Defeat the Darkness?

Can Sam and Dean stop the Darkness with a little help from the man upstairs? Maybe...not.  Supernatural finally revealed that yes, Chuck (Rob Benedict) is God, and he really needs the Winchester brothers to defeat his evil sister Amara, also known as the Darkness. "She's relentless," he tells Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) in the exclusive clip above from this week's episode. "A force beyond human comprehension. The 42 minutes that the brothers spent hunting the Woman in White hold a special place in out hearts, but there was always one detail that left viewers flummoxed - why did Dean return to Sam's apartment just as Jess' (Adrianne Palicki) body burst into flames (see video...

Supernatural: See the first photos of Chuck's return

Supernatural fans knew Rob Benedict would return in season 11, but the big question is whether he’s just Chuck, or if he is in fact God. We’ll find out soon enough when Benedict returns in the 20th episode of the season. The CW has released the first photos from the episode, which show Chuck back behind a computer screen, likely writing some sort of prophecy (or another best-selling book). According to the episode description, Chuck brings the Winchester brothers an “interesting proposal” just as Amara unleashes her signature dark fog on a small town.

Granted, the two guys are going to be coming back to Vancouver in the summer for season 12, so it’s really more of a temporary goodbye than anything else. For fans, the good news is that this will be far...
