This week, The CW series will focus on Amara and Lucifer (who is in Castiel's body).
According to the episode's synopsis on SpoilerTV, the epic battle for power will begin. Lucifer (Misha Collins) takes a trip home to Heaven and tries to control the angels. With no one standing up to him, will the devil take over Heaven?
Meanwhile, Crowley (Mark A. Sheppard) tells the Winchesters that he has found a way to take down God's sister. A preview of "Hell's Angels" provides a better idea of how he plans to take down The Darkness.
Watch it below:
The promo indicates that the King of Hell wants to use the Horn of Joshua as a means to subdue Amara. In the Bible (and according to Biblehub), the horns were blown by Joshua's army to bring down the walls of Jericho. It's clear that this is an important device.
However, Lucifer has the Horn of Joshua. Knowing him, he isn't exactly going to be willing to help Dean and Sam.
Additionally, the trailer suggests that Amara will do something that shakes the very essence of Heaven. At this point, a battle between the devil and Amara is inevitable.
It also seems like "Supernatural" is gearing towards an inevitable showdown between Amara and God. After all, they are siblings and he is the reason she is so angry.
"Supernatural" season 11, episode 18 premieres this Wednesday, April 6, at 9 p.m. EST on The CW.
